March 20, 2015: Vernal Equinox, Supermoon and Total Solar Eclipse

Dear Master Manifesters,

This year's Vernal Equinox coincides with a Supermoon and a Total Solar Eclipse.

So what does this all mean?

It's time to do some housekeeping: physical and spiritual and plant the seeds of change for what you desire to co-create with the Divine, creating beautiful, new beginnings. This process can be exciting. Making room for your new evolution requires that you make space in your life by removing that which no longer serves you. It can create temporary upheavals, but ultimately will place you on the right path.

Spring Equinox

The Spring or Vernal Equinox is the first day of spring signifying rebirth and when the length of day and night is almost equal. Spring is the time that all the Earth and its children, including us humans, awaken from our long winter's nap to be reborn. It is a metaphor for reincarnation. It is the time to plant seeds of change. Although today’s northeast snow storm it didn’t feel much like spring, believe me the energies are present and unfolding.

Supermoon

The Supermoon occurs when a moon is very close to the Earth, in fact it is 90% closer. As with all moons: new and full, there will be high tides; however the gravitational pull will be stronger during a Supermoon making them more dramatic. It is a time for new beginnings which will seem even larger than life. You can expect to be more emotional than usual. There may be more tears, laughter and drama. It is a good opportunity to learn about how to deal with expressing these emotions, to better understand ourselves and each other.

Solar Eclipse

A Solar Eclipse is when the moon aligns directly between the Earth and Sun and either partially or in today’s case, completely blocks the sunlight for a few minutes during the day. It can trigger upsetting changes, although afterwards they can result in positive life changes. Looking back at life after a solar eclipse you may realize that it has placed you onto a new journey of spiritual awakening. The next Total Solar Eclipse one won't occur until 2034. This year's solar eclipse was visible from Europe, the Atlantic and Asia.

Simple Spring Rituals

1-Thanking Mother Earth

Hello Mother Gaia, Hello Mother Earth we thank you for all you give us to sustain life: food, clothing, shelter, water, warm from fuel sources in the cold weather, flowers and trees for beauty and the air we breathe and anything else that enhances and sustains and maintains our mental, emotional, physical energetic, spiritual body mind and soul. We ask you Mother Gaia to fill us with your loving and nurturing light through our feet chakras.

2-Hug a tree, it will ground you.

3-Plant or prune your plants. It is grounding and will show your appreciation for our plant companions.

4-Write down your desires on piece of paper, I like parchment best, but any paper will do and place it under a crystal, your altar or other location special to you where it will remain undisturbed until the next moon. When the next moon arrives destroy the paper.
